The Ideal Location

Llanyravon Golf Club is well situated on the Southern side of Cwmbran only a few minutes from the M4 providing easy access from Newport, Cardiff, Bristol and beyond.

Since taking over the course in October 2023 the current owners have renovated the whole venue, The course has been renovated to the highest standard possible. Each of our grass tees also has all-weather tees designed specifically to encourage wheelchair golf, as the course proactively promotes disabled golf and is the home of the Welsh Disabled Golf Association.

We have installed two Foresight Falcon golf simulator bays in The South Wales Simulator Academy, ensuring our customers can enjoy golf all year round regardless of the weather.  We are the only venue in Wales, with two, of these state-of-the-art simulators. The course and simulator rooms are served by our fully refurbished boutique eatery called “TEN”. Freshly made pizzas and burgers are just part of the menu and are served with perfect accompaniments. We also have a top-quality beer and wine list with a wide range of soft drinks, coffees and teas.

We have a large, decked seating area that provides a lovely location to sit and enjoy the view over the course while drinking a cool drink or coffee with food. We also have a covered patio/seating area outside “TEN”.

Our Golf Shop is stocked with a range of golf equipment and clothing and sells snacks and refreshments that can be taken onto the course.

Our whole venue has been designed to provide easy disabled access.

The course is bordered to the West by the fast-flowing Afon Llwyd River which flows from its source northwest of Blaenavon and subsequently into the Bristol Channel to the South of Newport. This lovely, unique, feature further enhances our course.
